He is eight years old.
It is his mother’s wedding day and he is told, “You cannot stay with your mother any longer.”
He is taken away to live with his father and sister.
His father is an alcoholic, paranoid, sadistic taskmaster who lives in the middle of nowhere.
The boy endures the father’s tyrannical principles, persistent vigilance and abuse.
He never complains or criticizes.
Signs of the abuse are noticed at school.
An investigation is begun.
Still, he refuses to live with his mother.
His sister takes advantage of the opportunity and leaves for an unknown destination.
